so i became interested in grants because of our friend alphena who said her niece made a nice living writing a grant for herself every year then spending the rest of the year working at whatever occupation the grant entailed, then alphena's son was looking for his relative in germany who had the same last name as a girl from my highschool so i friended her and she told me she was a professional grant writer - and that it is a science or an art or both to be able to write grants successfully

the town is considering getting a 15 passenger van to drive elderly, people without cars and disabled people to stores, the library and town activities etc...
our neighbor is a disabled professional cdl licensed trucker who is still a very good driver and mentioned she would like to start an uber or lyft in town perhaps we can massage two birds with one shiatsu machine with this a c a p program that reportedly gives free cars to disabled people:

- clark and lois (the newspaper they worked for was owned by wayne enterprises, so they both worked for batman)
the reeve foundation was named for christopher and dana reeve who met, married and lived during the summers in my hometown, curiously, about half a mile from a place called kidder hollow, which is just above sinclair lewis's former thorvale on the taconic range
margo kidder wiki - oh no margo kidder died in 2018 after protesting at standing rock with sophie wilanski who graduated from the town college
wow - margot kidder was also (temporarily) paralyzed - from a car accident
batman became disabled fighting bane, which is when the archangel azrael became the dark knight
these grants and resources help municipalities and organizations fund wheelchair accessible vans:
reeve's close friend robin williams (who once as mork paralyzed 'the fonz') had a summer house 25 miles south in pittsfield and there are many tales from former townie restaurant workers of their dinners together with family and friends at the local restaurants accented with the antics of mr williams often reportedly talking to the lobsters in the lobster tanks
